Ingredients:
2tbsp beeswax pellets
7tbsp good quality olive oil
Essential oils of your choice
Jars or tins for your balm
Method:
1. Melt your beeswax and olive oil together, in the microwave on 30 second bursts (or by the Bain-Marie method).
2. Once they are melted, mix gently with a teaspoon.
3. Pour into your jars.
4. Add around 10 drops of essential oils to each tin and mix with a toothpick.
Try different combinations of essential oils.

Some of my favourite earthy smell combinations are:
– Lavender, patchouli and rosemary
– Lavender, patchouli, sandalwood and frankincense
– Cedar wood, sandalwood and lavender
– Sea buckthorn and honey – you can also add other things to enrich you balms, like rosehip oil, sea buckthorn and honey
– Lavender – can be good for helping with sleep, apply before bed on the temples of the head
– Tea tree, eucalyptus and lavender – these are all antibacterial and antifungal oils, making this balm great for scrapes or damaged skin.
